Competing in one of the most eclectic forms of motorsport on the planet, Nick Roots is the current Superstox World, European, National & British points holder.‍

Joining the Walero family in 2022, through its annual search to find the next Walero athlete, Nick showcases the very best of grassroots motorsport.

Nick has won six championships in three years, cementing his place as one of the most talented racers in the stock car scene. A down-to-earth racer, Nick’s passion for stock car racing began as a child where he watched his grandfather and father enjoy plenty of success. A real family affair, his grandfather still gets involved on Nick’s race weekends and his father remains one of his fiercest competitors on track.

In 2023, Nick took the step into the world of National Hot Rods, the premiere form of non-contact short oval racing where he was able to continue his impressive racing career in the UK's premiere oval racing format.

Alongside racing, Nick is also a stern supporter and activist of fire safety in motorsport and is keen to promote best practice in stock car racing and beyond.
