Joining the Walero family in the 2023 season as he looks to claim title number five, Ruben Garcia Jr has experienced success in NASCAR Mexico since 2018 where he claimed his first of four championship titles.
Hailing from Mexico City, Ruben is no stranger to success from the very beginning of his fledgling karting career to taking the leap to race Stateside in the NASCAR K&N series where he reached the top step of the podium multiple times, his attitude and determination to reach his goals is certainly one to be admired.
With his 4 championship wins, he currently sits third on the all time win list for the NASCAR Mexico Series at 28 years old and is even a five time winner of the coveted NASCAR Mexico Series ‘Golden Helmet’ award for racing excellence!
In 2023, Ruben looked to defend his most recent title victory in 2022 and continued to add to his growing tally of victories, podiums and pole positions. Unfortunately, after winning the joint most races in the championship, Ruben just fell short of clinching the title for the second successive year.
“As a professional driver, I always compete to win races and championships. Thats why I like to surround myself with the best people and the best tools. Walero has helped me maximize my performance on track while keeping me safe.”
