A ‘professional fun-haver’, Vaughn Gittin Jr. is a two-time drifting World Champion.

One of the most eclectic and boisterous faces on the scene, Vaughn is renowned for his aggressive, foot-to-the-floor, big-smoke driving style.

As the 2010 and 2020 Formula Drift Champion, Vaughn is one of the sport’s most successful competitors of all time. Vaughn is also a three-time World Drift Series champion (2011-2013). In 2005, he became the first American ever to win a D1 Grand Prix event when he stood atop the podium in the 2005 USA vs. Japan competition. Gittin again brought the title home for the USA in the 2007 World Championship.

More recently, Vaughn has turned his hand to off-road racing, competing with “Brocky”, a state-of-the-art off-road Ford Bronco. Together with off-road racer Loren Healy, Vaughn has achieved top-five finishes in some of the most thrilling off-road races such as the Ultra4 4400 King of the Hammers event in Johnson Valley, California.

In 2022, Vaughn also claimed second place finishes in both the 4400 and 4600 Nitro Championships in his iconic Ford Bronco.

During 2023, Vaughn made his highly anticipated return to the Formula Drift championship with team RTR where he claimed a sensatipnal victory at the opening round in Atlanta! Vaughn also secured victory at the legendary King of The Hammers event in the 4600 class.
